I'll bring up my prejudices first. I love colors that are seemingly washed out of a photograph, or deemphasized. I love beautiful skin. I love shapely bottoms. I love long smooth legs. I love the feet of a beautiful woman. So obviously I like this photograph!

My eyes jump immediately to the soles, the filthy dirt covered soles. The dirt looks almost like a period or some other punctuation when contrasted against the rest of the model's sole. My eyes go up, very slowly, and wonder about the temperature of the legs, warm or cold. My eyes linger at the bottom, covered by the almost too tiny pair of pastel red shorts, with two back pockets pretending to be eyes, and countless folds hiding the forms underneath these shorts. I continue to look up, seeing beautiful bare arms, a form fitting top, and lovely dark hair pulled back.

Then I look around. When is this taken? The warmth of summer? The changing weather of spring or fall? Is it chilly, inspiring goose pimples, or warm, producing sweat?

The lushness of the greenery is a fitting background, or even environment, for this pose. Moist, warm, cool, overcast. The graininess when blowing up the photo, combined with the washed out colors of the vegetation and skin and shorts, makes the image more of a dream or a fleeting moment.

Only improvement? Rule of Thirds, probably would crop out some of the background on the right, to have the model less centered.

This picture tells a story, some story. In some ways it is so raw and exposes the model more than a nude image could, and in others it hides her self.
